Friends and Fellow Macon County, NC Residents,

Yesterday, Sheriff Holland, formally announced his retirement after many years of dedicated public service to our County. With his retirement and a pending 2022 election, I wanted to let you all know that I am taking the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of offering my services and leadership to the citizens of Macon County.

I’ve had numerous individuals that have shown their interest in supporting me and helping to lead my campaign; these individuals will serve on the Holbrooks 2022 committee. My committee is made up of close associates, business leaders, residents and public servants.

Macon County residents know me as an individual with a focus on faith, family and community. The loyalty I have for my community has always been shown in my actions.

As a 9th generation Macon County resident and 3rd generation law enforcement officer, I have always remained connected to my Macon County roots through direct involvement with church, the school system, volunteer services and involvement with youth activities.

As Sheriff, my passion for direct, hands-on, community-based policies would be a constant throughout the department.

My wife, Sarah, a Macon County School Assistant Principal, and I invite you to learn more about our family and community perspectives by openly encouraging a dialogue between us.

I will promise to always give my best effort towards the community and people that live in the place I call home.

I am humbled by the prospect of continuing to serve our community and would appreciate your support.
